Price.  Price.  Price.  It has every advantage but that one.  But price makes all the other perks of the PS3 NOT MATTER.  It is a good value?  Absolutely (I have two).  But it's too much for the average gamer and waaaay too much for children, period.

Just wait a couple of weeks, don't forget LBP is just around the corner with motorstorm 2 just after and next month we can count on resistance 2 to increase sales! I think people are also saving money for christmas so these figure don't surprise me!

Shift in loyalty?  No.  I'd wager the price (Sony is offering bundles to help offset this but nothing beats a good old price cut for people sitting on the fence) and the string of RPGs that hit the 360 in a few weeks span (IU, TOV, LR).

Lookout, those 3billion customers are now waiting for the...............2 0 0 gb model.....<yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh> lol

When someone thinks there saving money they'll lean towards that system, and the new sony bundles will need to explain clearly that your saving money. All you need for Japans loyality is and RPG good or bad and I think Xbox realized that with there string of exclusive RPGs.

Who cares for that , Christmas is coming and is going to sell no matter what the price is, it's a good price, besides both the 360 and the PS3 have sluggish sales.

Dusty, check the previous weeks numbers. It's true that the XBox has outselling the PS3 in the last weeks after the price cut and the release of some JRPG, but the XBox sale has been reducing from 30.000 to 20.000 and then 10.0000 and now 7000. The PS3 sales has been pratically the same. I think next week the Xbox will sell bellow 5000 units. I bet a large number of those buyers already own a PS3.

I have no idea how many Christians are in Japan, but maybe the slump is because potential buys just slapped the PS3 on their Xmas list.

It's the Ps3. Honestly it is not the sytem it should be..
