Japanese Lost Planet demo this week

According to JeuxFrance, a multiplayer demo of upcoming Capcom PlayStation 3 port, Lost Planet, will be available on the Japanese PlayStation Store this Thursday.

Lost Planet was released on Xbox 360 in January 2007, but PS3 owners are getting a mighty fine deal on the title. The PS3 version will feature all purchasable downloadable content, all PC exclusive characters, and PS3 exclusive character Luka; all at the reduced price of $39.99.

We wouldn't be surprised if this demo made its way to the US PS Store this Thursday in addition to the Japanese Store, but Japan is sure to have it about ten hours earlier if you're eager to give it a whirl. Lost Planet will be available on the PS3 on February 29.

    I'll try it but is it only multiplayer, or does it have a single palyer at least.

    Just what I was looking for, I'll download it to see if it's something I want to end up buying

    The demo is only 231 MB

    Sweet.  I played this game demo for the 360 last year but never ended up buying it.  For $39.99 though, I may have to pick this game up when it hits stores.  What i played was kinda fun.

    @bluesteel - I also played the demo on live and never got a chance to buy it. It was so so to me. With the price drop and some other things like a new playable character I might also give a second chance.
