Kojima taking the reigns on two new titles

Apparently, Hideo Kojima doesn't feel as though Metal Gear Solid 4 has demonstrated that Kojima Productions can compete with the best of the best on the western side of the world. Talking to Famitsu, Kojima reveals that he is currently directing two titles simultaneously, one of which will be more western-oriented than his previous outings. The other title is expected to be tailored in the same direction as previous Kojima Production's work.
It's hard to argue against the fact that Kojima has already been competing strongly with developers from around the world as it is, but the fact that he feels he has to continue to prove himself can only mean great things for us gamers. I'm sure I'm not alone in hoping that Kojima can put his directorial skills to work in some form of an RPG title, however, I'm sure a lot would appreciate a true action-adventure title from the genius as well.

Whatever the games are,I hope that they are for the PS3 even if they are multi.I would really hate to be forced to buy a crappy 360 just to play either of the games.However,since he is one of the last smart devs,I doubt either game would be a 360 exclusive.

the western region stuck their nose up at MGS 4. didn't give it the respect it deserved. now they have awaken the sleeping giant. watch out world Kojima is on a warpath and no developer/publisher will be safe from his wrath. can't wait to see what these two new games will be. hehe

its amazing how modest he is when compared to ubisoft saying "they expect nothing but great reviews for prince of persia"
i hate ubisoft.lets hope 1 of these is PS3 exclusive

I really dont get why everyone thinks hes a genius. I really dont like the MGS games and think the story and game play/style is pretty bad.
But if everyone loves it and hes making 2 new games then this is good news to lots of people and anything new always helps the PS3.
