According to Play, Hideo Kojima will bring a playable version of Metal Gear Solid 4 to the Leipzig Games Convention (as we reported yesterday), but also provide news. Konami mentioned that they will be be announcing new Metal Gear Solid projects from Kojima Studio.
At E3 2007 Kojima stated that he was finished with anything MGS related, and that Metal Gear Solid 4 would be the last MGS game he would work on. But, Konami has specifically made it clear that any MGS games to come out in the future will be adhesive to Kojima Studios.
It would seem Kojima had a change of heart, which is nothing too surprising as he had stated before MGS 4 that MGS 3 would be his last title.
PSU cannot wait to see MGS 4, a PlayStation 3 exclusive, at Leipzig. Also, we are excited to see what Kojima has cooked up besides Metal Gear Online, which is another PlayStation 3 exclusive video game.

this is awesome. the game just wont be about solid snake. maybe a raiden game. Metal Gear Raiden
Keep in mind they still have the MGS4 online game to talk about not to mention the second graphic novel for PSP as well as a likely sequel to portable ops aswell as the Ac!d series both of which seemed to do well for the PSP. I doubt there's much more in the way of Metal Gear that Kojima is intersted in doing unless prehaps it's to finaly create a new hero to take over for Snake or to put a "Ninja Raiden" game.

From the info so far MGS4 and MGS-online are two different games(which is dumb to me unless the online version goes deeper than Warhawk will) , and second, I know I love playstation 3 never got a 360, got 12 games for my ps3 and yet when I read this I have a gut feeling that one of these newly announced games will be for the 360, there install base is in their favor, and money makes things happen, and trust me I'm a Sony man for life but even I know what hold money has over people,

I knew that it was going to happen. He makes so much money on those games. Why quit now. Hes gonna be making mgs till hes 90 years old and still say that it is his last mgs game.
