Gaming fans were again disappointed this week by the seemingly inevitable delay of Grand Theft Auto: IV for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
While fans of the series were heartbroken by the news, there was one shining beam of light for PS3 owners around the world. According to financial reports released yesterday by Take-Two their upcoming game, LA Noire, is listed only for the PS3.
There have been no formal announcements by Take-Two or Rockstar on the exclusivity, but we at PSU are ecstatic about the news. In an ever changing next-gen console race, developer support is a key factor in the success of a console.
Keep an eye on PSU for further news.

With this Rockstar game and the one that still hasn't been announced it looks like despite MS's 50 million dollar bribe, that Rockstar is still Supportive of the Playstation Brand. This is good to hear.

Have Rockstar actualluy announced LA Noir as a PS3 exclusive or are we all just jumping the gun? Either way the fact that Rockstar have said that their next IP will be a PS3 exclusive means Rockstar are supporting the format heavily. Now would they do that if the PS3 was responsible for their major cash cow GTAIV slipping out of the holiday season? I don't think so!!!

Rockstar made a deal with sony, that when grand theft auto went multi platform, that there next big hit would go exclusively to sony, thats what was said from sony at e3, I saw this on tv early one morning on spike tv's video game show they have, and they had a post e3 show, and I herd a sony spokesperson say this, cause the conversation was about how they feel about losing gta4 as an exclusive, and that is when he said they had a deal, he seemed very excited about it. Well anyways at the end of the show they said sony had the most to look forward to, and that microsoft and nintendo were kinda eehhhh!!!!!

All Sony has to do is allow Manhunt 2 on their consoles and they'll be set.

i just want to say truth none of the ps1 games helped ps2 to stand tall though ps2 struggled in starting but main thing is that ps2 became tall by its own exclusives for eg resident evil outbreak failed on ps2 but devilmaycry make a big impact that was just a capcom another exclusives were also there like god of ear racthet and clank point i am making is that gta4 will not make a big impact on any console but la noire will make impact on ps3 i am not saying that but that is rule of gaming business that why one spokes person of sony said that gat will not break or make ps3 tall sorry for my english guys i dont know much of it

Done some digging on this game and its interesting to note that Rockstar are only publishing it. Its actually made by team Bondi, which has been set up by ex Sony staff who worked on the Getaway... hmm perhaps it could be a Sony exlcusive after all.
