Left 4 Dead not exclusive to Xbox 360?

Electronic Gaming Monthly recently listed both Ninja Gaiden II and Left 4 Dead as arriving on the PlayStation 3 in last month's issue. We've already confirmed that the Ninja Gaiden II listing was false, but according to EGM editor Bryan Intihar, the Left 4 Dead one was accurate.

In his post on NeoGAF, Intihar states, "Yes, it [Left 4 Dead] will arrive on the PS3, as well."

It was previously believed that Left 4 Dead would be a console exclusive to the Xbox 360. No official announcement has been made up to this point, so don't count out the possibility that this may be yet another error on EGM's end.

The four-player survival coop title, which is being developed by Valve subsidiary, Turtle Rock Studios, is set to arrive later this year.

    hope this is true and not another futur let down, again! and if it is coming to ps3 i hope it won't be a just another f@cked up port from cr@pbox!

    Well if its Valve then it probebly wont.. I wish it would, but still - I bought a broken Xbox 360 today and have sent it off for free repairs so i'll prob get it sometime down the track anyway.

    oh who gives a ****, wat we need is a series that exlusive to xbox and 360 stolen to be sold on the ps3 aswell, why is this wat we need? because we owe xbox360 bak for moving in on GTA IV, WHO'S WITH ME?

    Left 4 dead? i watched a preview of this on Gamer TV a few weeks ago...looks like a "meh" copy of Resident evil...

    THIS IS GONNA BE ONE OF THE BEST GAMES EVER!!! PS3 needs it! I need it! but i will not buy no crapbox360 to get my hands on it. if u haven't heard of it people, then CHECK IT OUT! on youtube or something... please Turtle Rock Studios, make this game for PS3, pleeeeease!!!

    psn id: gingo.... i hate how all the games that we thought were 360 exclusives but are actually on ps3 aswell are all crap except ninja gaiden 2 which unfortunately is not on ps3 i mean can this game be classed as anything as a poor mans resi evil

    it's not like resident evil it's faster and waaay more zombies! check it out before making comments about this game being bad. it's out of this world, that's what it is.

    If anything we will probably get NG SIgma II (whenever that comes about after NG II for the 360). As for left for dead, the more games the better.

    yeah im not too thrilled with anything that valves makes after what I've seen from the Orange Box. They would have to really step things up in order for this game to please me.

    I saw this game on Gamer TV,looked pretty sucky to me.
