Konami has announced that the company’s upcoming Survival Horror title Silent Hill: Homecoming has been delayed until November 2008.
The fifth instalment in the critically acclaimed horror franchise was originally scheduled to ship in the latter half of September; the publisher did not cite a reason for the delay.
In this latest entry, players assume the role of Alex Shepherd; a soldier returning from an overseas tour of duty, only to discover that his father and brother have mysteriously vanished.
Shepherd eventually makes his way to the town of Silent Hill, where he must navigate the fog-bound streets and combat an assortment of vile creatures in an effort to uncover the mysterious circumstances surrounding his family’s disappearance.
