MGS4 demo arrives on Japanese PSN

Konami has stealthily debuted a Metal Gear Solid 4 demo on the Japanese PlayStation Network this week, reports Dengeki.

According to the website, the demo itself takes place during the Middle Eastern portion of the stealth action sequel, where Snake must navigate through a series of war torn streets in an effort to reach his informants, Rat Patrol.

As it stands, there’s no word on whether or not Konami plans to release the demo outside of Japan.

Metal Gear Solid 4 has already proven its worth as one of the biggest hitters of the year, selling 4.33 million copies globally since its launch in June.

    It is late, but who that doesnt have this game already wouldnt want to give it a try...and then be blown away...

    i think that its not a bad idea!!!

    i played Warwank demo i love it!!!

    There is going to be a MGS4 SUSTENCIENE or something like that????

    MGS4 was sooooo great. Demo is a good idea for people who want to give it a try epecially if they didnt like something about the older ones I.E. the fixed camera issue

    lol if you own a ps3 and haven't gotten it yet and need a demo to proove this game is so awesome! you're not a metal gear solid fan and shouldn't buy it!   but, still if you have to pay for the demo, just buy the game is awesome and worth it.

    I have a Japanese account and would love to hear more news about releases there because I can hardly make heads, or tails by just visiting there.  I end up downloading really weird stuff not knowing what it is.  In a way, this is weird.  A couple of months AFTER MGS4 is released and they get a demo of it?  I mean, do they need a demo for this game and if they were gonna get a demo, shouldn't it have been months ago?  I'm just going to say it, and I don't mean this in a disrespectful, or racial way, but the Japanese are weird :/

    its not late. there are still people out there that are on the fence about buying it. and this is a good way to get those people
