Liquid Swords News PS5 Samson Samson PS5 Wishlist

Samson Is Now Available To Wishlist On The PS Store

Liquid Swords founder and CCO, Christofer Sundberg, has revealed in a post on X that Samson: A Tyndalston Story is now available to wishlist for PS5 via the PlayStation Store ahead of its recently-announced September 21 release date.

Samson was originally released for the PC back in April and while reception has been mixed according to its Steam page, the game has still generated a lot of interest and Liquid Swords has been doing its best to patch things up. The console version will also arrive alongside a number of updates for the PC release, with the studio stating “we are also adding a bunch of new, exciting things in the PC version of the game – representing arguably our biggest update so far.”

The game follows the titular hero as he returns to the city of Tyndalston after a St. Louis heist goes wrong, resulting his sister being held captive by the gang as collateral for his debts. To save her, Samons joins forces with an old gang leader, his right-hand man, and an old friend to take on jobs in order to pay off the debt. However, he must repay a certain amount of the debt each day, or risk being hunted by ruthless debt collectors, or worse, getting a game over if you fail payments for three consecutive days.

Combat is entirely melee-based, with players increasing Samson’s strength and shaping his fighting prowess using a Skill Tree with over 25 upgrades. Vehicles meanwhile are more than a means of getting from A to B; they’re blunt instruments that can be used to ram your enemies and ensure no one gets in the way of achieving your goal in uncompromising fashion.
