Very good indeed, the PSO mags scores may be considered unrelyable by some but the other 3 give it a damn good scores and have nothing to do with Sony.

Portuguese PSM give it 94/100 .. they wrote that MGS4 is a game for fans .. that gamer's in generaly will like it but basically a game for fans..

 

i say send the reveiws ****... make u own... for what i think MGS4 is game to core/harcore gamer's but a casual/medium player will enjoy as the masterpiece i beleive it is..

right now i only think if Snake is realy going to die....

Well, I'm a fan and already paid for the game in full and don't care about reviews, BUT: Who cares if it gets glowing reviews from OFFICIAL PLAYSTATION MAGAZINES!!!! lol. I'm just waiting for IGN to give it a 3.7 for "general non-descript bugginess and other stuff".

I wish they wouldn't publish those ahead of time.  I'm afraid this may put pressure on other American media sites and publications to rate it harsher to avoid looking like they are in agreement with or are copying other reviewers.  Not cool!  This game LOOKS to be a 10...but things like this could certainly influence the way people think about the game and then score it.  We'll see....

It wont surpass gta in sells as gta is as much hyped for and has atleast double the base of mgs. On the other hand saying it is the best game so far for ps3 i can agree on that.

psn id: gingo.... just because they are playstation mags it doesn't mean they have to give it a perfect score, i actually think mags that only do a certain consoles games are more reliable with their scores as they are fans of the console so know what they are talking about

IGN is probably going to give it a 8 knowing them. The gametrailers about a week after will give it a 8.5 just to make a difference between scores.

It can't beat GTA4 in sales because GTA4 had two platforms to sell on.  It's not like everyone with a PS3 is going to get MGS4...

I hate to say it but I don't trust any reviews from single-console magazines.  They tend to be biased, though I'm sure this game will be deserving of these scores.
