And so a tortuous tale of censorship, sadism and ruddy great virtual chainsaws draws to a close. Rockstar Games' ultra-violent Manhunt 2 will be released for PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable on October 31 in the UK.
Rockstar's murderous brainchild was refused a rating twice by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) last year, on the grounds of "its unremitting bleakness and callousness of tone in an overall game context which constantly encourages visceral killing with exceptionally little alleviation or distancing." Yikes.
The final retail copy is the fruit of a lengthy court battle and numerous edits. The odds are it's essentially the same, censored version North Americans have been playing for a year now.

Eh,if i want Manhunt 2 i want it uncencored,and i know a few torrent sites that have it.:p
better late than never.
this has like evry single kill censored out to the point u cant see anything at all...so as much as i loved manhunt 1 im not really gonna be buying this one.

It's a ssadab game. I liked it. one of my faves.
i might just get a ps2 again just for this game, it could be a waste of time but im a big fan even if the killing scenes are censored i still have my imagination
manhunt 1 kicked (butt) bcuz a s s was banned) and was freakin hard. i dnt really plan on gttn manhunt2 though cuz i dnt think that its gnna b anymore gory and awesome than the 1st one.- stephen stphack@gmail.com
