Marvel Vs Capcom 2 coming to PSN?

Marvel Vs Capcom 2 is to fighting games what Final Fantasy VII is to role-playing games -- with one exception. While both carry the same overpriced tag on eBay, only one of these will (likely) be available to you on the PlayStation Network. A recent ESRB rating has shown that Marvel Vs Capcom 2 has been given a rating for both the PlayStation 3 and the X360. The ESRB has proven to be a very reliable source for upcoming titles that have yet to be announced.

This will give gamers, otherwise unwilling to pay $70 or more for the title, a chance to finally see what the hype is about. For those of you out of the loop, Marvel Vs Capcom 2 features 49 fighters from across two expansive universes. We'll be sure to keep you updated when it's officially announced.

    THIS IS THE BEST NEWS IVE EVER HEARD! some1 stole my game and i never was able to find another 1 4 a reasonable price.  i hope this is true

    *jumps around* woooooooooooooooooo. Loved this game to bits on the dreamcast. Maybe this time I can unlock megaman now that I can actually play online, lol.

    Now all i need is a powerstone 2 remake for PS3 and i'm set. My dreamcast can rest in peace for all i care, lol.

    MvC2 has 56 playable characters. anyway this sounds cool and all but i just bought MvC2 for $110, given the fact that it was three months ago. it was still recent, for me.

    I do hope this is true cuz im a beast at this game and if it supports online then its over i will definitely bust a nut

     Sweet.  I've rented the game twice just because it was that fun... and the cheapest copy was outrageous for a game.

    If MVC2 is coming to PSN, I'd be very, very happy.  I heard that Capcom lost rights to the Marvel franchise though, so we'll have to see where it goes.

    Here's to hoping for the best.

    YES!! Please let it be true, I passed this title up when seeing its price tag in gamestop; should have bought it though! I love this game! Simply awesome the best news I've heard today!

    WOOT WOOT!! I have the first MvC for PS1, but I was never able to find this one for PS2. The Dreamcast version was always available though, but I never owned a Dreamcast. LOL.

    Get out a here?! If this is true, a definite download for me. And they should feature it in 1080p HD (Man, that would be beautiful). My friend owns it for PS2 but I want it for myself. And I plan on purchasing the original (MvsC) and a host of classical PS games on ebay, or wherever I can get it/them for cheap.

    This would be great if they do put it on the psn. I brought Street Fighter 2....and yeah, what a waste of money. That game sux. @11........................WTF!

    Well, I already have the Clash of Super Heroes ROM on the PC, don't know if it's like the same game, but I guess having this game on PSN will bring joy to a lot of PS3 users

    wow, this is one of the last games that I actaully went to the arcade to play!!!  I do like the first one just as much though they should go all out and bring em both back.  very cool news either way!
