Media Create has furnished us with Japanese hardware and software sales predictions for the week ending December 14. On the hardware front it’s business as usual: the DSi hundreds of thousands of units ahead, the Wii fending off PlayStation Portable for second place, PlayStation 3 going steady at over 30,000 sales and the Xbox 360 keeping PlayStation 2 and DS Lite company at the bottom of the list.

Nintendo also consolidated its hold on the software top ten, with Animal Crossing and Namco’s Taiko no Tatsujin Wii stealing the top two spots. Not a PlayStation or Xbox 360 title in sight, though with White Knight Chronicles incoming on December 25 you can expect that situation to change.
