Messiah unveils sleek Blu-ray remote

We all know that the PlayStation 3's Blu-ray support is top-notch, but utilizing its features can often times be difficult. Accessing functions during a movie via the SIXAXIS can be challenging, especially when your dog knocks the controller off the table and hits a menu feature that you didn't know existed (doesn't that happen to everyone?)
Well fear no more, Messiah Entertainment is here to introduce the Darklite DVD remote. Yes it says DVD, but Messiah assures everyone that it is Blu-ray compatible. Here's the lowdown:
Pros:
~Stylish remote and conversation peice
~Slide-back face plate to cover and uncover buttons
~Rechargeable ion-lithium battery
~Backlit buttons
~Recharable station attached to reciever

Cons:
~Must plug receiver into USB port and have direct shot to operate remote.
All in all a solid peripheral for the PlayStation 3 especially at the $30.00 price point. If you are looking to "trick-out" your PS3 or other innovative products check Messiah Entertainment out, but as of now, the remote is the highlight in our minds.
Keep a watch on PSU for more stylish peripherals for the PS3.

Looks Sexy. Im not really greedy, but I think I can save myself $30 and just use the SIXAXIS. Is it really that annoying to people??

It's obvious that max41592 is some XBOX360 troll hanging around in PS-Forums to annoy people - doesn't he have a Life or at least a job or somethin???
Back to topic - the remote look very stylish and the price tag is ok, but a receiver unit for connection seems a bit oldfashioned, why can't the remote simply work along with the PS3 without having this receiver thing?

max wat you are doing is basicly insulting a product that we on this fsite have gone out and bought and enjoy very much, this is not very well received and is called TROLLING. do we go into your sites about the 360 and insult all of its shortcomings, no, so would you stop insulting the ps3 on a forum site designed for the ps3. If you dont like it that is your problem not ours.

In my opinion it indeed looks very cool, and I would probably buy it if I didn't have the official remote already. It should really use bluetooth though, as the PS3 has excellent support for it.
I hope that an admin bans max41592 soon, Max you're not pleasing anyone here.

PS3 USED to be the BD player of players in my opinion, but without DTS-HD Master Audio, its not complete. As a matter of fact, my faith in Blu Ray has declined to the sewers. But enough about my frustration with BD, lets talk about this pointless remote. The Sony Bluetooth remote is awsome. It works! Its wireless! I can aim it where ever because its BT, and its CHEAP! $25bux!
Ill pass on this pointless remote.

Who the heck has a problem with just using the SIXAXIS to control their viewing !! I was ok using it with my PS2 for DVDs and I'm still ok using it now for Blu-rays..it not rocket science !! Only a dumass needs to buy the rip-off remotes !!

wow thats pretty cool, i dont mind using my sixaxis to control my movies, however it is a pain to keep patting around my sofa looking for the thing in the dark, then when i do find it, ive hit a button! ahhhh,
ps3 fans don't threat over this max fella, let him get back to his 9 gig dvd!!! ha ha ha there all going to pay soon, how long do you give it before m$ gives into blu ray?
