Metal Gear Solid 20th Anniversary figurines released

With gamers just soaking up every last detail about the upcoming game, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, another revelation was made when several retailers and collectible shops have put out 20th Anniversary Metal Gear Solid collectible figurines for sale.

The action figures pay homage to the Metal Gear Solid Series, starting with Metal Gear Solid 2. The original Metal Gear Solid figures were released years ago from McFarlane Toys and were based around the characters in Metal Gear Solid 1. The collectibles from Medicom Toy Corporation come in five flavors, MGS 2 Solid Snake, MGS 2 Raiden, MGS 3 "Naked Snake" (Big Boss), MGS 4 Octocamo masked Old Snake, and MGS 4 unmasked Old Snake. With very few variants in price, all the figurines cost roughly 18 USD from Amazon.com and make a great collector's item for any fan of the series.     They sure are very detailed, I was thinking that these were going to cost more than $18 bucks.

    Im a huge collector. I have recently gotten into game based figurines like Halo and God of War. I hope I can get my hands on a couple of these!

    heh, I've had the MGS3: Naked Snake 20th anniversary model for about a week now.  the faces arent very accurate, but it's still awesome. very detailed.

    I actually got the MGS2 Snake on Wednesday, it's pretty sweet. I'm gonna try to get my hands on Naked Snake now.
