Metal Gear Solid lives on in animated fan movie

The talented trio over at DuoGroup.com have produced a unique new animated short movie entitled "Metal Gear Solid: Cold Blooded."

The story behind this video follows the life of Big Boss during one of his past mission in Margov, Chechnya. His mission is to infiltrate an enemy encampment during a heavy snowfall and retrieve a man by the name of Yuri Maminko.

    My goodness.  Look at those production values!  I'm impressed.  It looks like the PSP's MGS: Digital Graphic Novel or the cut scenes from MGS:Portable Ops.  Make more of these.  Just don't try to make any cash off of it, though.  Konami should commission more Digital Graphic Novels.  I heard that there was one based on MGS2: Sons of Liberty coming, but I think they scrapped it.

    yeah i saw this on GT site they really good at making movies and yeah this does look like the game for the psp :) they sure know how to make a anime like feel to it aswell i hope they do more would be cool it almost looks like a small movie ^_^

    that's pretty good made from a fan. it would be way better if david hayters voice was in it.

    For a fan video it's pretty good all around. It makes me wonder if there is a future for MGS in animated shorts (ala The Animatrix or Batman: Gotham Legends). I think if the MGS fans pull together, we can get something really special.
