More "triple-A" PSP titles to be announced, says Sony

Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) director of hardware marketing John Koller has said that the firm has only revealed roughly half of the PSP’s 2009 line-up, with a number of “triple-A” titles still yet to be unveiled.
Speaking to Kotaku, Koller stated, “At Destination PlayStation we announced about half of the line up for the PSP this year, some fairly major, triple-A titles are coming for the back half of the year that are going to be announced in the coming months and at E3.”
“LittleBigPlanet is going to be one of the top three but a number of others that are coming are just as big,” he added.
Koller also divulged that the PSP version of the Media Molecule platformer will be able to connect in some way to the PS3 release (most likely to share levels), though didn’t go into any specific detail.

@1, someone's been reading the news and believing it! Seriously, with an install base of the PSP it's not in danger. Not at the moment, I think Sony need to release more and more games on the PSN for PSP, and bring the price down. More small titles like flOw, cheap and cheerful.

All the triple AAA games are great but until you put a internal harddrive and get rid of the UMD it won't matter.

@1 - I really really reeeeally hope you were not serious with that one. If you were, I have a ocean side property in Oklahoma that I can sell you for cheap. The ocean view is wonderful, especially when the Sun is just above the water.
On a side note - The PSP has sold more than 50M units worldwide till date.
@13 - What's with the Apple hate? Did they take your candy away?
On Topic - I would like to see a Gran Turismo game on the PSP. That would be bad-asss!

I don't think an Uncharted PSP would work. The game is known for its fluidity and amazing graphics. Of course the gameplay is also above average, but I just don't think it would be that satisfying to play with PS2 graphics... But who knows, maybe they will surprise us and show the PSP got even more power than shown in GOW:COO!!
Hmm... What else, what else... They almost got a PSP iteration of every game franchise out now (which is good), so sequels and new IPs I guess! Oh, and a Ninja Gaiden (Sigma)! -

I'd rather see some new IP but I think we all know how hard it is to push something new as a AAA title if it has no past to draw on, But if it has to be based on some previous game it needs to be a different style of game. Take a FPS and turn it into a nother 3rd person action game or RPG, Maybe another side story game that links between sequels like Assassins Creed, Uncharted 1.5 anyone?
The iPhone is a joke. It's a tricycle next to a motorcycle, you cant compare the experience between the two. ANyone that claims the PSP will be "destroyed" by the ipod has dirarea for brains to even suggest it.

@1... When I think of high quality games, I think of Nintendo & Sony. NOT Apple. Apple can't even get decent computer games.

but sony already shown an outstanding line of PSP games ... Motor Storm... Assassin's Creed , Little big Planet , now Rock Band ... + Prasite Eve 3rd , Kingdom Heart : BBS , Dissidia : Final Fantasy , Final Fantasy XIII : Agito , Fantasy Star Portable & Resistance : Retribution ... man the PSP line-up looks as good as the PS3 ... and i thought sony started to give-up on PSP

About time they put more "AAA" games on psp. such as gow, assassins creeds, resistance. They need get uncharted, better cod game, just more shooting games. Also they need street fighter 4.5 on psp, now that be cool to have on psp.
