Atari announced today that it would be bringing Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 to the PlayStation 2 across Europe in September 2008.

This latest instalment in the popular series boosts 40 playable characters and all-new game modes, including Hero’s History, which allows players to participate in various battles taken from the anime series.

Ultimate Ninja 3’s main attraction is the Ultimate Contest mode set in Leaf Village, which plays host to the All-Out-Ninja Tournament, pitting rival gangs Leaf and Sand ninja against each other.
