One of the more anticipated titles of 2008 for the PlayStation 3 console is Dark Sector. D3Publisher has released a new trailer which is action packed with gameplay and adrenaline. From what we can see, the game is looking phenomenal and has certainly further peaked our interest.

This looks like what RE4 should have been.
I hope that Dark Sector turns out to be a good game because it's one of the few 3rd party games that I am actually looking forward to. Dark Sector looks like a pretty average game so far. If Dark Sector turns out to be an average game with a lack luster storyline, I'll just wait until it drops to $29.99 and buy it.
This game is definately missing a lot of particle and lighting effects. I hope this is not a look at the final gameplay.

I think it really comes down to gameplay on this one. Will you get sick of using a blade most of the time?(if that's how they have it set up). It's hard to top the guns because so many games use guns and it seems like they are running out of variations for Sniper, Shotgun, Machine Gun, etc.

This is a real far cry of the trailer released in '04 when it was the first announced next-gen game. Either way it still looks impressive to me, & I swore back then I would be getting it upon release, so I wait patiently.
