One of the key additions that players will notice in this update is the use of the new Media & Events Space. *yawn* still boring. i mean c'mon, not even any footsteps? SOO QUIET. this is why we need in-game xmb NOW. its no wonder the beta testers are bored, got no tunes to listen to while they aimlessly walk around...

It may look stupid because theres no one else in the world with him.  Imagine 100,000+ people on, then things would seem better.  For a beta I was really impressed with the graphics, I can't wait for this.

Stop whining! You sound like a bunch of Xbots. Honestly I can't figure out where the negativity comes from. I'm really excited for Home. It's revolutionary, and Microsoft's typical response to revolutionary competitive products is always to make baseless accusations and excuses until they can copy it. Can't wait for this!

Looks ok. Far more excited about in-game XMB though.

I think it looks good and it should be quite fun when all ps3 owners can use it. BUT the load times could destroy it :(

    - Anywhoo you dont have to be a "xbot" if you criticise Sony.

i hate the retro stlye not eveyr one likes retro keep it modern liek the rest of home in refferance to the courtyard cinima and bowling place they are disgusting also people will not be attracted to advertisements advertisements are to be placed around popualr things not on the walls of gallerys

Definitely not Grid lol that game's dull, and GTA IV is boring after you complate the game, nothing to do after that.

    • 6:35am BST - June 2nd, 2008

Those loads are only for the first time you enter the area though, its not going to be a two minute download everytime

Can't wait. It's going be amazing. It may look dull now. But think about when you have 100 of thousand or millions of players on it.  Again this is just a beta. So not many players are on it and not seeing others player around make it look boring.

    @ all the haters

    *

I'll see you there at the end of the years like everybody else.  Complaining that you can't get in because of the high volume of other haters who stayed up all night to be the first to get in.  In other words, you're fooling no one.  You will be the first in line and you know it.  Let's just get that straight right now. THAT'S WHY YOU'RE ON THIS THREAD!  Read Carefully:

    *

I didn't like Resistance, so I'm not getting Resistance 2.  I NEVER look at Resistance 2 screenshots, videos, or trailer because I don't care.  The fact that you are here proves you're full of it.

    *

Next, the load times for going to an adjacent place is fine (with one guy, anyway).  It's Jumping clear across the map that takes long.  I don't know if you ADD idiots watched the video long enough to get that.  But whatever, like I said, I'll see you there with everyone else.

    Frame rate seems low.

@Jonbori: I think it is downloading that's why it is taking so long. I think next time the guy enters that room it will be faster.

I've over the Home "hype".  It can come out whenever, I don't care any more.

you cant say jsut cas you do somthing it proves that every one else does the same also dont make refferance to people wih ADD its more comman then you think and the way you are acting is a symptom of it those kind of statements are out of line.

The reason they havnt relesed it yet is because they are adding more and more every day. Dont you people see that home is going to become a huge world? It's going to get bigger and better. and when that time comes the ps3 sales should be flieng because of the release of home. so cheer up ps3 fan boys =]

They need to release Home already im gettin tired of waitin for it

  32. jigglespsu

    • 12:55pm BST - June 3rd, 2008

Just what I need .. running aimlessly about for hours on end looking for stuff to interact with.  Plus really crappy camera angles that don't allow you to look at stuff properly.

Why is this taking so long?  Probably because they're still waiting for content to destroy my bandwidth.

As for relocating ... can't they cash(oops Mr Freud that should be cache) these on the HDD (oops I forgot, that got hijacked by gta)

Next gen sux!  I'm going to buy a jigsaw puzzle next time.  Should take longer to complete than most games nowadays, it won't be delayed and I won't have to patch it to make it work.
