New Guitar Hero III downloads coming this month

December is going to be a great month for North American Guitar Hero III fans. If you may be wondering just what we mean, then look no further than the latest song pack to be made available in the coming weeks - just think of it as a Christmas gift from Activision.
As said, the set of downloadable songs will include a three song downloadable package, three individual songs, and a free song.
The whole set up will look like this:
Three Song Bundle Package:
No More Sorrow – Linkin Park
Sleeping Giant – Mastadon
Pretty Handsome Awkward – The Used
Three Individual Songs:
So Payaso – Extremoduro
Antisocial – Trust
Ernten Was Wier Saen – Die Fantastischen Vier
Free downloadable song:
We Three Kings – Steve Ouimette
Currently there is no core price range or date in which the content will be released, but soon as it becomes known, PlayStation Universe will be one of the first to let you know.
It is good however to see that Activision is keeping the GHIII experience fresh by throwing out new content in such a rapid pace.

well thats great and all but sometimes I feel I should of waited for Rock Band due to all the add on songs they release. (better songs too)

Better, maybe, but if Activision listened to their fans requests, and im sure it dosent help that the music industry pussyfoots around in helping them acquire a license to the tunes. Rock Band was probably easier, being helped along by MTV. I plan to own both, but Rock Band remains my favorite of the two. I hope to see Dethklok (more), Alter Bridge, and ultimately a Trivium song or two show up. Trivium would frustrate alot of people, not as bad as dragonforce, but they do dual guitars too, and thinking about what the songs would look like when listening, they would cause alot of frustration.

These songs suck, but at least they are finally coming out with DLC, hey and a free new song for xmas :P still they need to get better songs. :P

Well I am not getting this game until Christmas so bring it on. I can't wait to open this present.

I'm with JMelillo57. I have a strong suspicion this is under the tree for me. I love the Grimlock icon too!
