New Home screenshots display Event room

With Home delayed likely until the end of the year, it's at the very least comforting to know that they're still making improvements and not just making us wait. Following one of the latest updates to Home, SCEE has revealed some screenshots to display the new media room. We've included these shots below and the room seems to be within its own open-ended cavern. We're guessing this is where things like "Virtual E3" will take place in the future.

Beautiful, looks very interesting. I am expecting then for there to be several of these, like different worlds that they have on most MMOs to keep the internet traffic down.

Well im glad that the delay isnt just for the sake of delaying. To have a E3 in home would be really sweet. They could include interviews, demos, and trailers. Id like to Watch E3 next year on my Ps3 through home. well anyways it looks good I want to play it sometime this year

yeah i used to own a 360 which i bought mainly to really see just how good the exclusives were and for live i was quite dissapointed with it i mean its a good service but 1 it costs money and 2 i got lots of lag and voice stutters whereas on my ps3 i have silky smooth online play which is why i want my console to be online but anyway yeah the event room is a great idea for home the graphics are really quite good too

Wow, man. I gotta say this thing looks amazing for a simple community chat service. I just can't see myself actually befriending someone I've never met in person through this, though. Especially people like you guys (I mean, look at some of the responses on typical message boards...why would I want to interact online?). I guess you can't teach an old dog...

Lets hope, that unlike Haze, being delayed actually improves it.

looks like a bad art gallery
im not the confident home will be great i get the idea they are showing us absoulatly everything so while the screen shots may be nice that is probably it. if it was like a gargantuin super structure and those gaint view windows of the mountians outside where one of millions then it might be somthing but i get the idea that there is one and thats it meaning you stare at it for a few minutes go hmm thats pretty then walk off n struggle with the difficult caht system with some one who thinks your asking them to touch your wombat.

Wow,that Event room really does look like the real thing.
@MrGunhappy
Yeah i think that would make sense,especially in the case of two virtual events taking place at the same time.
