Sony Computer Entertainment has begun a new marketing campaign titled "Reflections," consisting of three 15-second TV spots that offer insight into what's to come from the larger campaign scheduled to kick off on November 21.

The first released TV ad entitled "Alley," features a day dreaming garbage boy taking out the trash, with a reflection of MotorStorm Pacific Rift shown in a nearby puddle of water. A message then appears on screen, stating, "Have you started your wishlist?"

Take a look at the TV spot below:

That's pretty cool. Sometimes you start to wonder if they know too much about us all!

cool but so many people are going to miss the point. why cant they just show the old 2007 commercial with all the new games. the one with the morphing ps3. that was a good ad.

It's perhaps a smidgin too subtle.  In fact I wouldn't have noticed it if I hadn't read the article.  I guess thought that they are selling the dark mysterious nature of the PS3 and the secrets that lie with kinda thing... they need different adverts for different audiences though ... spread your bets sony

that was wack, you spend millions of dollars for a TV ad and that's what you come up with?

Not much to that, but I think that is one part of a larger advert and broken up for a little for a TV slot.

TBH, its not so bad, but people want to see content.......I hope SONY don't fall back on the old trends of obscure adverts. I know they are interesting and theatric at times, but it does nothing to show off the content of the console.

well at least it wasn't some drug-induced fantasy ad that the guys at sony's marketing division usually churn out....

they need better commercials, i've seen this one and it sucks. please sony fire the guy who did this, i love my ps3 but, they just don't know how to advertise.  time to go back to the drawing board sony. "sony what are we going to do tonight ?" playstation:" try to take over the world!"

I' ve seen a few of these ads its also one with a little boy looking at a building with ''Ratchet and clank'' on the side. i think these ads are a part of a bigger advertisment maybe the closer we get to the hoildays we will see more of it. i think they should start advertising MGS4 again '' f '' putting a demo on the PSN.

the only reason ps3 is not doing as well as the ps3 is because sony keeps making these stupid commercials i hate the xbox but its commercials are way better then the ps3's

ehh, its a neat concept but i don't like how it focus'  so much on the guy in the ad, it should draw more attention to the puddle and like show in someway that it' motorstorm pacific rift and it's only on ps3 seriously i don't understand why they didn't keep the "morphing ps3" ads they were awesome they were edgy they were entertaining, and they got the point across, they just got you fired up to own a ps3

Seriously, sony is sooo stupid and dumb with their ADS, FOR GOD SAKE, all their adds are puzzles, starting with the crying baby. and finally this. i love my ps3 to death but come on people we should admit that sony is SO BAD WITH THEIR ADS. WASNT IT BETTER if they showed all the kick A** games in on add instead of showing someone cleaning GARBAGE. OMG GARBAGE. WHAT NEXT, MAYBE THEY LL SHOW SOMEONE PLAYING HIS PS3 IN A SEWER.
