New Valkyria Chronicles footage released

SEGA has unveiled a selection of new gameplay footage for its highly anticipated tactical RPG title, Valkyria Chronicles.

Released in Japan earlier this year, Valkyria Chronicles takes place during the year 1930, in the fictional European country of Gallia. Players assume control of a band of uprising Gallian nationals whose mission is to prevent an invasion by the Eastern European Imperial Alliance, who are attempting to overthrow the region in order to secure its supply of precious ragnite ore.

Valkyria Chronicles is due for release in North America on November 11, 2008.

    Can't wait for this...who else thinks it is odd though that Sega is making a Sony EXCLUSIVE game..??

    finally looks like somebody trying to put some real competition in square's arena.  I look forward to this.  Although I'll reserve judgement until I've played it.

    Valkyria Chronicles is not my kind of RPG. The whole tactical part is a little off for me. Would be nice if we were getting stuff like SO IU.  At least simultaneous release with the 360.

    Tactical RPG...uhhh not my thing at all. Straight RPG is more like it. 

    It's kind of good they pushed this game back. Infinite Undiscovery would've eaten it up.

    I wish we were getting Infinite Undiscovery on September 1, 2008. Screw M$ with all their money!!!

    VC was not pushed back, its release date in the Us was always 11/11

    game, looks good,and from what i can tell famistsu gave it a good review so i'm definately picking it up, I have the OST and some of the tracks are simply amazing, if anything i'd buy the game just for the music
