In a recent Official PlayStation Blog post, 2K Marin game designer Tynan Wales revealed new details in regards to the Trophies available within the upcoming PlayStation 3 port of BioShock. Not only did Wales name off one of the unlockable gold medals players can earn, but he also assured PS3 gamers that many of the Trophies will be unique to the PS3 version of the title and not just simple Achievement clones.
"As some of the Trophy criteria noted in our last post seemed familiar, some drew the conclusion that the PS3 wouldn’t have unique Trophies. That is not the case." said Wales. "As BioShock for the PlayStation 3 continues its ascent from the depths we have assembled new information regarding the trophies that will be available to players. Specifically, we have new intelligence on the Trophies which are unique to BioShock for the PlayStation 3."
One of the newly listed golden Trophies is entitled “A Man Chooses” and is attainable when players complete BioShock on Survivor difficulty. To take things one step further in difficulty, another trophy called “I Chose The Impossible," will be unlocked when players complete the game on Survivor difficulty with the Vita-Chambers turned off.
With BioShock set for a November release, there may be a reason for veteran's of the title to pick it up again. Stay tuned for more details.
