Wow, this Motorstorm is everything I wanted from the first and more.  The customization gods do exist!

Plus I love the thought of punching riders off their vehicles and having them fall in lava. *Cue maniacal laughter*

If they make a geat on-line component to this game, it's going to be amazing!

If the AI is like the first one then I won't be buying it.

yeah this game looks insane i loved motorstorm 1 it was a great intense fun racer even if it did lack variety. but this one looks great the graphics look better than the cg demo for the first one plus the customization and varied tracks coupled with better ai and even better physics than the first time around ill say it again this game will own

Another AAA title coming out that is PS3 exclusive, man am I happy about purchasing it. Motorstorm 2 has improved in all of the first ones flaws and even then added more than needed

Chuck Norris customization feature.

Why?

Because Chuck Norris doesn't crash. He just desides when he wants the car to mess up, spin out of control and explode into hundreds of pieces.

And if he were on a bike, he could side kick others outside of an armored vehicle back to motorstorm 1.

this is good news,,

the first motorstorm was a bit repetitive after awhile..hopefully this will add much nneeded substance to the game

Can't wait so far its looking great... Better than the first thats for sure.  I beat it while working at Target before I even owned a PS3 so I never bought it.   Hope this one has a better replay value.

I liked the first one two - it showed a lot of promise - but it just seemed very rushed, and watered down.

seems like this one is gonna have all the things the first one needed, what is amazing is that the first one was great even without all those things so im expecting this one to be veeeeeery good.

Everything sounds good. The first Motorstorm game seemed imcomplete and a rushed game because of the lack certain content. I'm definantly going to pick up Motorstorm 2 when it comes out.

This is going to be like the jeep chase level in Uncharted, only you'll be driving, looking forward,and instead of blowing up 4 wheelers, you'll be mowing them over with big rigs :) 

I absolutely hated the rubberband AI. And not only that, but the AI worked as a team to beat you instead of individuals. For example, I decided to test this by driving behind a car and riding his bumper. On a freaking straight away the AI car is hitting his brakes so other cars can gain more of a lead. No human player actually trying to win would do this, therefore this game sucks at imitating human intelligence. I'll probably stick to GT5.

I really enjoyed the first one, but it got old for me until my friends picked up a PS3 and got to play with them online. Motorstorm 2 looks like its comming along nicely, really dig the customization part of it.

People who put the first motorstorm down, are simply not true gamers.       The first motorstorm was an awesome launch title, and still holds up to any other arcade racers out at present...In fact I think it is still the best in the genre on any platform, and I was a huge Burnout fan back in the PS2/Xbox1 days.       Motorstorm 2, just like Resistance 2, looks to build on top of an awesomely good franchise.   

All they could do now, to ensure Motorstorm 2 is phenominal, is for Sony to use it;'s dedicated servers, ala, Resistance and Warhawk.

I dont know about that AdolphFitler. I'll agree it was good for a lauch title but when i played the demo i couldnt be bothered to pick it up. And just because its the best racing game out so far (before burnout anyways) doesnt mean much, all the other racing games sucked.

Deathbyhashman, I respect your opinion..Even though it is wrong and fails to comply with mine.      As I said, anyone who did not think Motorstorm was a great game (period), is not a gamer in the true sense of the word....And for you to moronically say you are unsure of the Great Adolph, only to openly admit you played a one track single player demo, is an insult to anyone who plays games intelligence. 

At least give a reason why you think the game is average, as I can state five that contradict you.

1. Great Graphics

2. Great gameplay

3. Excellent Online

4. Awesome tracks (although more would have been nice)

5. Mad vehicle designs and deformation/damage. 

The game is just fun..If you can't handle that then sell up your PS3 and buy Snakes and Ladders for excitement.

If split screen multiplayer will be included, then count me in. Then I'll ber buying it on the release day, without checking ANY reviews.

im going to be buying this game on the first day, no matter what the reviews say, because i know Evolution studios will make an amazing game once again.

is it two player split screen, or four? and will you be able to play online split screen like war hawk? i never bought the first one because of the missing multiplayer so ill be picking this one up forsure
