No Fat Princess in June

The recent PSN store updates in both North America and Europe had gamers pestering Sony with the question, “Where is Fat Princess?” Mike Kebby at SCEE clarified the situation when he responded to a comment made directly to him on the European PlayStation Blog.

“Fat Princess will have a global release date, but I can confirm for you it will not be next week I’m afraid," wrote Kebby. "The game is coming at some point this summer, but there is no confirmed release date at the moment.”

Ouch. So not only no Fat Princess, but no confirmed release date for it either. It could be coming at the end of August, for all we know -- though hopefully that's not the case. We'll keep you posted.

    Damn it! Fat Princess looks like such a good title, I wish they'd hurry up :( at least give us a  proper date so we can set our calendars...

    If it takes more time to iron out the bugs and make it into a deep, involving strategy game that they've promised to deliver then it'll be worth waiting for. But a demo in the meantime would be nice however.

    For the best. I'm in the beta, and it's nowhere near ready. Would be a huge letdown if it released now.

    That's no bueno man. Hopefully BF1943 releases next week. I was looking forward to a new game, but my hard drive sure isn't. This will give me more time to get a new one :)

    Good, my parents have taken my PS3 home with them and left me with nothing, if Fat Princess came out I'd not only be bored but angry.

    #5 - I heard that they have given the project to a Japanese development house..so the release date is now 2012.. but i will look and play just like the product they are showing now :-)

    To bad that there aren't any psn cards in europe otherwise i would consider buying it
