Square-Enix announced today that it would be bringing the PlayStation 2 title Odin Sphere to Europe some time in early 2008.

Originally released in Japan and North America during the summer, Odin Sphere takes the form of an illustrious 2D side-scrolling adventure, featuring hand-drawn backgrounds and artwork.
Your objective is to progress through each level, dispatching hordes of foes on your way as you switch between up to five different playable characters, each with their own unique abilities.

hmmmm!! sound like another RPG game to me.
psn id: gingo... europe is always the testing ground for japanease games and then if successful they release them in US which is good for europe becasue we get great games first but we also get the crap aswell
this game already came out in the US.
It was made by Atlus so its kind of wierd that square-enix is releasing it in europe.
Anyway its an awesome game with great story telling.
Atlus didnt make the game they only published it in the US. Just like they didnt make the Disgaea games they localized and released. You guys in the UK better pick this one up, you're getting a gem of an action RPG title!
Actually Odin Sphere is one of the few games actually made by Atlus. It wasn't just published by them.
Sloooow.... tooo ......ssslooooow.
PS2 is finished - this is a great 2D game why didnt it along with Grim Grimore get released two years ago is beyond comprehension.
Im still waiting for Xenosaga 3 so I can finish the friken story - PAL regions get stuffed around
If Atlus did indeed make this game it's even more rare, and probably makes even more sense that Square would be the ones to publish it in another territory, Atlus doesn't have a huge amount of money and rely mostly on localisation of other people's creations.
this game isn't made by atlus, it is only published by them. it's made by vanilla ware... much like grim grimoire was made by vanilla ware also, but published by nis america
