The PlayStation 3 version of Valve’s Orange Box compilation will be released in North America and Europe on December 11, publisher Electronic Arts announced today.
Previously released on Microsoft’s Xbox 360, The Orange Box contains the critically acclaimed Half-Life 2 and Team Fortress, along with Half-Life 2: Episode’s 1 and 2, in addition to an all-new multiplayer title, Portal.
Recent hands-on impressions of the PS3 build have revealed a number of performance-related faults in the game, however, though it is unknown whether or not these issues will be addressed in time for release.
Stay tuned for more coverage on The Orange Box in the near future.

I am sooooo disappointed with this "lousy port". I strongly hope that EA fixes the errors. This was a must buy for me until all the talk with Gabe Newell trashing on the PS3, then handing off the game to EA's programmers. PS3 will be the wave of the future!! I guess I'll just wait for games worth my time. KILLZONE 2 will own the market & spread like a disease. M$ wont be able to get rid of the infection!!

They're probably releasing this to compete with UT3, whether or not it's a completely bug free game! I don't think they'll care too much, they'll just buy time to release a patch to kinda fix it once everybody complains about the faults...like some of the others games that were recently rush out!!!
