War torn streets in SOCOM: ConfrontationSony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) announced today that the revamped PlayStation Store would go live in the region on April 15.
The launch of the redesigned store will also be accompanied by an influx of new content that same week, including the European Metal Gear Online beta test, which is scheduled to go live on April 17.
Further updates include Broken Mirror for Warhawk, in addition to the Diabolical Dragons and Skyguard updates for Factor 5’s Lair.

@ HazdoTT - Konami Digital Entertainment has announced its plans for a public beta program across Europe for its forthcoming Metal Gear Online title for PLAYSTATION 3. Konami will release Metal Gear Online Premiere Beta via the PlayStation Store from April 17th, with online tests running from April 21st through May 6th..... so I guess ANYONE can participate in the beta.

uhh... why does this just say PAL PS Store? North American is coming at the same time too.
It's a closed beta. The only way to get the beta invitation is to go and preorder MGS4 through Gamestop, where they give you a special DVD with the beta code invitation inside. Sorry guys, but I'll be enjoying it when it starts :D

If you reserved your copy of MGS4 at gamestop you get a DVD called Metal Gear Solid Saga Vol.2 inside the dvd case there a code you must input in order to download the Beta.

I didn't even know there was going to be a public beta!! Well, I'll take this offer as a kind of a demo, and I love demos :D Time to finally try something in the MGS universe which everyone is talking about.
And if there is some sort of code you need by preordering, I might just preorder just to check it out ;)
