POSTAL III heading to PS3

Who doesn't love a game where you can fight Gary Coleman as a boss character? That's right, Postal is back and recently confirmed for the PS3.

"We are now in the early stage of designing POSTAL III for the PS3," said Running With Scissor's CEO Vince Desi. "Every developer has their own approach, so while we started first on the Xbox 360, we are now committing to the PS3 as well."

"We started this series back in 1997," recalled Desi, "and while the franchise has grown into an international computer game sensation during that time, it has always been our goal to bring it to the videogame console marketplace. For many years I’ve been asked by gamers around the world when POSTAL will appear on console. I’m so proud to be able to answer our fans' prayers."

The player will once again be cast as the nameless "Postal Dude," the star of all previous iterations of the controversial franchise. POSTAL III is scheduled for release some time in 2008.

    Never heard of Postal. But what i think should come out is Parasite Eve for the PS3

    The postal games are awfull, running with scissors are not very good game developers

    Yay?  I rather not have the PS3 brand associated with a crappy game that think it can sell by being "controversial".  This series has been obsolete since the GTA series shown how awesome crime simulators can really be.

    Speaking of abominations, did anyone know that Uwe Boll's "Movie adaption" was apparently released this month? Yeah I got a wiff of a really bad smell, at first I thought it was New Jersey but it was like a hundred times worse, then I finally saw Jeffery Lyons review it and once again seems like he complatly ingores the source material just to make his own horrible movie.

    @ Solrac pure genius, bringing back one of the best rpgs from back in the day it would be awesome  to see Parasite Eve on the power of the PS3.

    I loved Postal 2! Such a dumb game with barely anything to do (structure wise) but it was just fun as h3ll using cats as silencers and p!ssing on people. :D

    Isn't Postal that franchise that had White people killing Black people? Or maybe I'm mixed up with another game.. Never heard of the developers... This can only be a bad thing, ofcourse.

    postal has been banned in a lot of countries because of its bad taste. I personally kinda liked the boobies though.hope this game is rated x.

    Thanks, but not alot of people know about Parasite Eve or even know that there was a sequel, they kinda left the ending hang a bit in the sequel

    I remember cracking Postal 2 for my friend back when it came out.  Nice to see a new iteration.

    sweet postal this was probs the most funniest game i ever played on pc i was wetting meself playing this i cant wait!
