PS3 Exclusive from Rockstar Games on the way!

Today SCEA's Michael Shorrock, Director of 3rd Party Relations, announced that Rockstar will be developing a new title exclusively for the PlayStation 3.
"We are announcing that a new franchise from Rockstar Games will be exclusive to PS3. As part of our long standing relationship with Rockstar, and the incredible success for both companies with the cultural icon that is Grand Theft Auto, we’ve agreed to the PlayStation exclusive rights of the next great franchise from the Rockstar studios...
...Rockstar really wanted to make a game that you can truly only do on PS3, harnessing the power of CELL and Blu-ray disc and this deal lets them do just that..." - Michael Shorrock
The SCEA representative also mentioned that in an interview with Game Head, Rockstar confirmed this new title would not be a previously announced title, aka LA Noire.
In addition, it is rumored that this new title may be using Natural Motion's Euphoria animation engine which Rockstar reportedly licensed a few months ago.

Great news for us! I knew Rockstar wouldn't sell out to MS. And now they just need to announce Sony will get some downloadable content for GTAIV as well.

ABOUT TIME. Ive been waiting for Rockstar to wake up and realise if it wants to make anything good out of GTA it has to make the game from scratch on the New PS3 using the Cell. Iv been doing a little digging on this over the past few months and nice of them to finally come out and tell everyone. I expect the game to be FULL 1080P and Rockstar to give us what we have always wanted. THE CLOSEST DAMN GAME TO THE REAL THING! High Hopes dont dissapoint use Rockstar. Can you add a in game Ten Pin Bowling & Put Put and if we lose we can go blow crap up? Thanx

I have a feeling its L.A. Noire or maybe a new project from Rockstar since how Rockstar if they had the chance to make GTA IV exclusive to only the ps3 they would have used more disc space as possible to nearly fill the whole disc But since its multi-platform by the xbox360 it sorta allows them to not use as much space because of how the game needs to be identical to the 360 version which uses dvd9.

everyone's forgetting about Bullworth Academy, it was a huge success altough not as fanous as GTA but still a great game, maybe the new series revolve aroung good old Jimmy Hopkins, wich would be really cool. Even If not, I just hope that R* suprises us in a espetacular way
