Everyone rush to your systems and get downloading, because the latest PS3 Firmware update -- 2.50 for those who live under a rock -- is now live.
Just to recap, the new firmware includes improved Bluetooth headset support, Flash 9 support, an in-game screenshot capture tool and much, much more. For more information about Firmware 2.50, check out our previous report.
We wish everyone a swift and steady update (we hope not to hear any stories of bricked systems). For more up to the minute news of all things PlayStation, stay right here on PSU.

Well, no problems getting or installing update. Took me less than 10 minutes. Not a lot of visible difference but the in game screen shot feature sounds fantastic. Maybe this will help with not getting bogus screen resolution comparisons going forward! :)
And so much for Home rolling out with 2.50, huh?

They've certainly improved alot of things. Account Management and the Store have been spiced up a bit. Though I'm disappointed in the flash support. I still can't access websites that use Flash 9. I'm getting a "need to upgrade your flash player". Anyone else getting this?

I’m happy with this update. I like seeing how long it has been since my friends signed online. I can already tell some of the people I need to delete, because they haven’t been on in like 55 days. Hah. Anyways, I hope to see another update such as this. Keep up the good work, Sony.
