The previously-unannounced PlayStation 3 port of Valve’s Zombified multiplayer shooter Left 4 Dead surfaced this morning, with several UK retailers listing the game for pre-order.
Play, Gameplay, and Game added the title at the same time – usually a sure-fire indicator that a product exists in the production/retail chain.
Valve’s will-they-won’t-they approach to PlayStation development has left PS3 owners feeling understandably frustrated following the under-optimised port of The Orange Box, but hopefully this will make amends.
Left 4 Dead is a multiplayer-only title that pits a team of four humans against a legion of player-controlled zombies in a battle for survival, garnering positive pre-release buzz from most of the gaming press.
No word on trophy support or a firm release date at the time of writing.
