Hothead Games announced today that Jonathan Blow’s hit platformer, Braid, is headed to the PlayStation 3 on November 12 in North America with a European release announced “shortly thereafter.” We first heard that Braid was coming to the PS3 back in August, and we’ll soon get our hands on this time-shifting title.
The port will be available on the PlayStation Network for $14.99 USD. Hothead dubs Braid as an untraditional platformer as you can never die or lose. Rather, the game focuses on solving puzzles instead of playing and replaying the same tricky jumps over, and over again. The game also features a unique and lush art style.

14.99?Count me out, that's the same as Tekken Dark Ressurection! And I haven't even bought that, even though i consider myself quite the Tekken fan.Though i also consider myself to be a bit of a cheapskate, but still that's not the point right?

Damn that is a bit steep!
I got this on my 360 and it was expensive then too. I think it was one person who made this game so at least were supporting him!
This is an awesome game and any game fan should have it. It will wrap your head in knots at times.

Seriously people, get the $#%^ over the price, this game is unbelievable. The art style, the awesome soundtrack, the way the story is told - everything combines to make the game extremely atmospheric - not to mention the puzzles are facking genious, they aren't trial and error BS, you can actually sit there and just think (ya use your head every once in a while, I know it's not the American way or anything but you know...) and solve instead of try this, nope didn't work, try this, nope. That'll get you nowhere in this game.
Can't wait for release, I'l be getting the game for a third time, one XBL, one PC, now PSN can't wait.

Got it on the PC and its a cool 2D puzzle game, $14.99 is way to expensive. Wipeout, R&C qfb, Fat P are all worth the price tag but Braid, meh I don't think so. I think $10 is the most you could ask for.
Anyways good to see it coming to the PS3 and I know it will do really well.

I happen to like 2D games and would probably love this. I'm glad that games are still being made in 2D and it's not viewed as something inferior. The price, while more expensive that what I'm used to playing for a PSN game, isn't outrageous. I'd rather pay $15 for a really good 2D game than $60 for a 3D game that turns out to be junk. Speaking of 2D games...when is Pixel Junk Shooter getting here guys?

That was a really bad description of the game. Try harder.

To those that are bashing others because of their price conscious attitude, shame on you. Not everyone has the luxury to spend $15 when ever they want, especially on a game that they are unsure of. If they are unwilling to spend 14.99 on a game, don't tell them to get over the price. There is probably a reason they can't afford it right now. and at #10, don't diss the american population saying that using the head is not the american thing to do. it is a low blow, that isn't necessary when commenting about a game that will be released soon on the PS3.

Whether people have the $15 on hand to spend really isn't the issue. It's people questioning that the game is worth the price...which it is. This is one of the most ingenius games you will ever play. It approaches the concept of time similarly to how Portal approached the concept of space, in that it incorporates it into gameplay in an entirely new way which forces you to bend your mind in ways you've never had to before and approach problems from a completely new angle. Then, just when you think you have one new concept figured out, it throws another completely new concept at you to work with. The price tag is nothing when compared to the actual worth of the game and I'm baffled how anyone who has actually experienced it before would actually think that a paltry $15 is too much to spend on it.
TLDR version: It's brillant, don't miss it and don't listen to the meatheads who say it's not worth the money.

I for one, am very happy for this. but yeah, now I just need to find an extra $15, which is gonna be pretty difficult, looking at all the games being released recently and in the near future. Hopefully I will be able to get my hands on this by the end of the year though. Hopefully. It looks quite fun, and I do like me some 2D platformers. This one looks especially appealing.
