PSU: Is there a solid release date yet for The Golden Compass?

The game releases on December 4, 2007 three days before the film. You can look forward to the game coming out on all platforms including PC, Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, DS and Wii.

    I'm not sure if this is a game I will play, but it is a good game for getting the younger kids playing.

    I wasn't a fan of LOTR or Narnia, but I'll keep my mind open about this game. It could be good.

    I like how they say " You can look foward to the game coming out on 360, PC etc." Actually....no I dont. I look forward to it being a PS3 exclusive so that I know it will run smooth and look great.

    um wttf are they thinking relaseing games on all platforms it just means grahpics are gonna be shiiity as  look at it to me i wouldnt even say it looks like ps2 matierial

    I'm a big fan of The His Dark Materials trilogy, but I am slightly scheptical whether this videogame conversion will do the books justice. In fact this game probably would have never been developed without prominence of the Golden Compass(Northern Lights) film. It seems like a trend these days, as soon as the word gets around that a potential blockbuster is in the works, publishers belch out a rather average and rushed game to make a quick buck off the success of the film. Business is business I suppose.

    I hope gameplay is alot better than the GFX.
