SEGA has confirmed that upcoming RPG Phantasy Star Portable will be hitting PAL territories in Spring 2009.

The PlayStation Portable outing picks up following the events of Phantasy Star Universe, and allows gamers to select from up to three different classes along with four race types before tackling the main quest on either a single player or competitive basis. The game also introduces a brand new partner character in the form of Vivienne.

Sega’s European marketing boss, Gary Knight, commented: "The Phantasy Star Universe series offered a compelling role-play experience with excellent multi-player modes in delightful atmospheres.”

“These aspects are represented authentically in Phantasy Star Portable, including exclusive new features just for the PSP version allowing fans of this series to enjoy the quest on the move."

I own all three. I enjoy getting games on all three and I am sure Sony doesn't mind milking their cash cows either.

My ps3 has gon to be repaired (hard disk failure) so I'm glad to own a psp which offers excellent qaulity games and this games looks quite appealing considering the fact that the ps3 lacks in rpg's!
