Mortal Shell II’s Physical Revered Edition Has Been Very Popular It Turns Out, With Supply At Numerous Retailers Now Fully Reserved

PlayStack has revealed that supply for the Mortal Shell II physical Revered Edition has eclipsed expectations, and as such supply has already gone dry at various retailers.

The company issued the following statement in a post on the game’s official X account:

Demand for the PS5 physical Revered Edition of Mortal Shell II has exceeded expectations and unfortunately supply across a number of retailers has now been fully reserved. Meaning that in a growing number of markets fans are unable to pre-purchase a copy of the game. We apologise for the lack of availability.

The post goes on to say that there’s a “very low chance” that additional physical copies will be manufactured in time for the game’s August 20 release date. However, PlayStack noted that it’s “working with our distribution partner” regarding reviewing ongoing demand and will provide an update once a decision is made on the next steps. It warned that there is no guarantee that stock will be replenished post-launch.

It didn’t take long for the Revered Edition to start selling out, as preorders only went live on July 8. In case you didn’t see our earlier story, the Revered Edition includes the base game, a SteelBook case, art book, fine art prints, and preorder bonus skins.
