Playstack and Cold Symmetry have announced that Mortal Shell II is launching on August 20, 2026 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
Preorders are now available for the standard version of the game, while the Mortal Shell II Devout Edition can also be preordered for $59.99/£49.99, which includes the game, up to 72 hours of early access, and the Obsidian skin for all eight playable shells. Meanwhile, physical game collectors can plump for the Revered Edition, which features the base game, SteelBook case, art book, fine art prints, and preorder bonus skins.
Mortal Shell II is the follow-up to the critically acclaimed original Mortal Shell that expands on its predecessor in meaningful ways, including deeper weapon design and extensive upgrades options, as well as unrestricted blood-pumping combat and free exploration.
