Monolith's sequel-in-all-but-name to horror FPS F.E.A.R looks to be shaping up nicely, but unfortunately won't be hitting consoles until early 2009, rather than the previously-touted 2008 release.
'Project Origin' lead designer Dave Matthews confirmed that the company is "going to release multiple SKUs", with the PC, PS3, 360 version all coming in the first quarter of next year.
Retaining the featureset and graphical style of the original, Project Origin continues the series' propensity for AI-infused action set pieces and dark horror - hopefully with a little more diversity on the environment front this time around.

Looks scary, but I think it will be a short game.
