Public Home Beta To Kick Off This Month
The wait is almost over as it appears that Home is getting ready to start its live public beta.
There have been numerous reports that many members of the Official PlayStation forums are being notified to link their accounts with their PlayStation Network accounts. The email has also made its way overseas to members of the Official European PlayStation forums as well.
According to our source, the email that is being received states that, "...users must link their PlayStation Network account to their PSN user ID before March 16, 2008," which is just four days away for those who are deep in Call of Duty spring break marathons and can't remember what day it is.
For those who have been out of the loop for a while, Home is a community-based service for PSN which has been in development for roughly two years. The application allows users to create a character that in return will receive their own virtual apartment space, which can then be decorated with items that gamers receive throughout their PS3 gaming sessions.
Stay tuned as more information is leaked out.

The notifications is simply because they're revamping the forums and as such are linking your registered username with your PSN ID's. This isn't a verification of Home!
