Quest for Booty to weigh in at 3.2GB

Insomniac's Ratchet & Clank follow-up 'Quest for Booty' is set to clock in as a 3.2GB download, not bad at all considering the level of graphical fidelity.

Following directly on from last years' Tools of Destruction, Quest for Booty kicks off with Ratchet on a mission to save his metallic friend, continuing the tradition of fantastic platforming in those gloriously playful environments.

Due out on August 21 for GBP 9.99, those of you that prefer physical media will only have to wait a few weeks until September 12, when the Blu-ray version is set to release for the exact same cost.

Between this, the burgeoning PSN line-up and the upcoming European video store, it might be time for you 40GB owners to think about an upgrade.

wtf ... 3.2gb that's huge!!! My bandwidth disappears with all  the demos as it is :(

I won't be buying this  for the very reason that this is a ridiculous download size.

Well I won my PS3 in a Sony competition at xmas so I didn't really have much choice in which model of PS3 i would be getting haha =D

I think i've got less than 1/4 of my 40GB hard drive left so I am thinking of upgrading pretty soon, probably after pay day this month. Will be getting quest for booty, but going to wait to get it on the blu-ray version rather than download, so still a few weeks to go for me ^^

I could walk down to the shops, buy the blu-ray and walk home before it even downloads the first half of the game... I might just be able to go to the cinemas aswell.

3.2 is a rediculous download size??? not really. man why are people so cheap."oh no my bandwidth!" "oh no my hdd space!" just upgrade your hdd. maybe some of you should go buy a 360 so you dont have to worry about "rediculous" dl's. lol
