RE5 will "paralyse you with horror," says Capcom

Speaking in a roundtable with 1up.com and the Leipzig Games Convention this week, Resident Evil 5 Producer Masachika Kawata described his experience with the upcoming Survival Horror outing, claiming it “might paralyse you with horror.”
“I thought the game would be more of an action game until I played it,” admitted Kawata, before stating that the title “might paralyse you with horror.”
Elsewhere, Kawata divulged several details on the game’s co-op mode, giving examples as to how players will be able to utilize the new feature.
One example included how gamers can work together to obtain new items previously unreachable by a single character, while the other described how both players can navigate dark areas successfully, with one character holding a torch and the other providing cover fire.
“We have integrated quite a different variety of situations where you can both play in co-op," he said.
Resident Evil 5 is due for release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 13, 2009.

We'll see when the game comes out but if it's anyway like RE4 then were in for a big deception with a great lack of scariness!

im definitely gonna pick this up but i have to disagree i think the RE series turned into an action franchise when RE4 was released, it just wasnt scary. now silent hill or siren those looking effin scary

im a big fan of RE ever since the 1st.i thought theyre were a few jump moments in RE4.im purposly not watching any of the videos on the internet so not to spoil all the surprises of the game,as that generally happens with the internet.DAY 1 purchase for me mate.

RE hasn't been the same since Nemisis. I think Capcom needs to get back to the roots of the story. I might pick this up thou, don't really know yet. PSN ID- Demented007
