Remember that pesky one-week delay for Insomniac's Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction we informed you about earlier this month? Forget about it.
After several retailers began switching their dates from the expected date of October 30 to a week earlier on the 23rd, Gaming-Age got curious and contacted SCEA.
These dates are apparently no farce, as an SCEA representative confirmed that the title will indeed be shipping early to several retailers. It's also confirmed that the advertising campaign will kick off to coincide with the title's launch on October 23rd.
So in conclusion, make sure to call your local retailer before heading out at the crack of dawn to buy this game (which we expect you all to do).
Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction will be seeing the light of day on October 23.
Update: This is now confirmed on the PlayStation.Blog

You'll have a week between EoJ and R&C to try and save a little extra cash. As for selling them early I suppose the retailers that had gotten them sooner than expected probably already sold out of their stock or atleast were told to wait until this tuesday (the 23rd) to put them back out.

Alpha2, you took the words from my mouth.
And anyway, why hasn't the release date changed on PSU as well?

hey, anybody here listen to the full moon show? if you're a fan of insomniac (like me) you really should. you can't get an hour and a half of insider info, stupid jokes, and a disgruntled british opinion just anywhere anymore. plus you get an interview with an important figure in the industry in each episode!
