Insomniac Games has said via Twitter that Resistance for NGP will be developed by Nihilistic Software.
The developer also clarified that it’ll be a brand spanking new game, and not port as some had previously speculated. Nihilistic, meanwhile, is also currently chiselling away on PlayStation Move Heroes.
Elsewhere, the chaps at Game Informer confirmed that the rather splendid-looking Uncharted NGP title is being worked on by Sony Bend of Syphon Filter and Resistance Retribution fame.
Both Uncharted and Resistance were announced earlier this morning during a media blowout in Tokyo, forming part of a sumptuous software line-up for Sony’s next-generation handheld.
NGP is due for release in Japan later this year.
