Resistance 2 "Last Hours" trailer

GameTrailers.com has released a new Resistance 2 trailer entitled "Last Hours." This latest footage displays the gore and grittiness of the upcoming shooter from Insomniac Games and is guaranteed to get your adrenaline flowing.

Resistance 2 is due out exclusively on PlayStation 3 this November.

A few months ago I wasn't hyped about this game at all. I wanted it after finished R:FOM, but then the waiting had me calmed down. Over the past few months, R2 has been shaping up as a MUST have title for me. Insomnia is awesome!

The Resistance 2 commercial completely blew away the Gears Of War commercial. And is it me? Or does Nathan Hale looks completely bad a** in R2?!

Its nice to see they actually look like they are being harmed when shot this time. Now they jerk more when getting hit hard. I think resistance really needed that.

Ok so I know this is way of topic but I just had a thought on a game idea I had and I would really like to hear what you think of it,we dont see many original games any more,so here goes,instead of you fighting to stay alive,you as an imortal must in some bezaar way keep your companions alive because one of them has something valuable(anti-virus) inside them which has to be at a certain point at certain time because the antivirus will become nothing more than just another blood sample if you don't and thus be the end of life as we know it,now here is the tricky part,the game gets played in real time,i.e if you have 24 hrs to get the anti-virus to that point,you will have to finish the game in 24 hrs,it might take you 30 hrs to play the game but in play time you must finish the game within 24hrs your checkpoints are time based,ie you must reache the checkpoints within the time given,if there is a battle you must instruct your companions to take shelter,if you dont they will die,letting them stay in one place for to long will also mean there death and just because you are imortal does not mean you can just barge into battle you might for instance get KO'd for a few seconds which will put your companions in harms way but remember it is time based so the quicker you kill your enemy the quicker you can move there will also be some puzzle obsticals in your way,these are just a few thoughts of a game!what do you think?!

im in the online beta right now, and all i can say is the 8player online co-op is amazing, i cant wait till the actual release to play the whole campaign. and im sure the single player campaign will be just as good if not better

First off, Tonic, thats why we have forums. Not to be rude, but really isnt a good idea to pitch a game Idea you have not patented on the internet. If some developer likes it, at this moment he can steal it and say it was his idea. Im sorry man, but you need to be careful when you could have gold brewing in your brain.
On topic, this game looks amazing. Shooter of the year, but id say runner up for GOTY, to MGS4.

The part I prefere of the trailer is the beggining, did you catch the guy being killed by an invisible enemy just like in predator except this guy gets ripped in half in a heart beat! Thats gonna be one h€ll of an enemy to take out and the grachpiques compared to the first resistance is way better! Since i've finished the 1st resistance i've been hyped about it's sequal, this is deff. a day one buy for me!
