According to Japan's Dengeki PlayStation magazine, it is rumored that Sony will soon be releasing a new controller, the Dual Shock 3. This new controller will be the same size and shape of the Dual Shock 2, but will have rumble technology included. A welcome addition, as the lack of rumble has been one of the main complaints, and perhaps cons, of the PS3.

The new controller is said to debut around the same time as Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, which should be sometime in October. The controller has been featured on the Japanese GT5 website, and will be fully functional with the game.

There is no word yet as to whether games will be able to utilize the rumble feature if they were released prior to the controller, but be sure to check back for more information as it becomes available.

As usual, however, it's best to wait for official confirmation before getting your hopes up.

Well... If you live in America and go to a GameStop somewhere and ask the manager. He will say its coming. It will start to come with the 80GB later this year around chrismas... My brother is the manager and he is saving me two when they come in. Who dont know that they are on there way?

"But dose it still have the motion thing in it?"

Yes it will include motion sensing and rumble together. I can't wait for that, although it might not even work with some games which came out before the controller.

I'm wondering if they can make patches for the game to be compatible with the games prior of it's release......I doubt it:(

thats cool I liked rumble at the first but then when playing game I forgot all about it so I really dont miss it. if they do add this feature I hope it dosent interfere with the motion sensing tech, then im all for it.
