Rumour: Beautiful Katamari may arrive on PS3 after all

Bandai Namco’s official games page is now listing Beautiful Katamari for release on both the PlayStation 3 and Wii, despite earlier reports that the PS3 version had been cancelled due to porting issues.
Over the last couple of months, there have been countless rumors of a Wii version, with the game's designer admitting it was a possibility. Despite this, Beautiful Katamari was later announced as an Xbox 360 exclusive, with the official box art baring the "Only on Xbox 360" logo – a feature previously the subject of much controversy in the past (Remember Enchanted Arms "Only on Xbox 360" everyone?)
According to Bandai Namco's site, the PS3 game's release date is TBD, along with the Wii version. If the game actually is confirmed for the PlayStation 3, then we can assume the Xbox 360 exclusivity claims are indeed false after all. For now, we should remind people that claims of a version for Sony's console should be labelled as conjecture for the time being, at least until an official statement arrives from Bandai Namco.

Gametrailers has refused to remove this game from the PS3 section dispite the report that the game was canned. Later they showed an interview with a producer on the game that said a PS3 version hadn't been rulled out, it's just that the team is too small to work on more than one version at a time. The 36* was just the choice for first release becasue of the install base and online set up was something they really wanted to utilize. They said they even wanted to do one for the DS.

This is promissing news I played "We Love Katamari" which came to the PAL regions and it was fun in a bizare way. I'd buy another game in the series for sure. I like original games.
RE your prediction - I hope your right LittleBigPimp - I'd love to see Ace Combat comes back - one of my personal favourites. Ive never played Culdcept so not sure what that one is like.

It would be great to see this come to the PS3 and use the Sixaxis for control.
