BIA: Hell's Highway 'Realism' trailerEidos Interactive has recently reserved the trademark Tomb Raider: Underworld, fuelling Internet speculation as to the possibility of it being the title to the next instalment in the Tomb Raider video game franchise.
According to reports, the title is said to feature heavily on the Mayan Calendar, focusing five days where the line between the mortal realm and the ‘Underworld’ realm becomes blurred, hence the game’s title.
Further details are unknown, although it was previously stated that a new title in the franchise would be available for major consoles some time in 2008.

Wow.. 16 thumbs down within 5 mins.. Someone must not really like this game.. Anyways.. I'd be interesting to see Laura in a new next gen look.. I said interesting.. Not like Im marking my calender or anything..lol

I have really disliked the gameplay and controls of each iteration. The last one was better but still flawed IMO. The sad part is, I find some of the stories intriguing but can never be bothered to suffer through the game.
If the controls go through an overhaul then I would definately want to play this title.
Available on major consoles? Well there goes that PS exclusive rumor...I knew it was too good to be true.

They should seriously make this ps2 and ps3 exclusive like the old tomb raider days. And then as months go by they could keep it that way since i honestly think if tomb raider went thru the exclusive phase again people would wanna play em more.
Man, at soon this game follower the story from legend I be completely fine adn decide to buy it. If the game decide to skip the sequel of legend and give us another Lara adventure I'm out. Sorry'

Tomb Raider needs a overhaul. Terrible controls, bugs and choppy motion. Uncharted is what Tomb Raider "should" have been a long time ago. Unless it's a true rebuild, I'll pass.
Hopefuly It is wwithin the same quality class as Anniversary... not hopeful though...
