SWAT team arrests two men for playing PS3

Imagine this: you're playing a shooter on your PS3 with a buddy, your surround sound is blasting, and you're having a jolly good time. Then, over the cacophony of digital warfare, you hear a man on a megaphone shout, "Come out of the building with your hands up!"
That's what occurred recently in Copenhagen when a frightened neighbor phoned the police after hearing "gunfire" in a nearby apartment. The police didn't take the report lightly; they sent an entire SWAT team. After arriving at the residence, the SWAT team called the two men, a 21-year-old resident and his friend, out to the street, and proceeded to arrest them on the suspicion of firing weapons in the apartment.
Yes, they were shooting... enemies on the flat screen television.
The police searched the apartment, but didn't find any firearms, and soon released the two men. If there's any moral to this story, it's turn the volume down. Or don't live next to paranoid elderly people. Either works.

Often wondered when this story would pop-up. Even watching an Action movie could instigate such a neighborly reaction.....

My buddy and I had a SWAT team called on us because someone saw us cleaning paintball guns. It was funny... well, it was funny after the cop took her gun out of my face.

are they idiots? If you hear gunshots and grenades and bazookas coming out of a house, yet ZERO visual evidence you should probably question yourself. Especially when you hear people yelling MANDOWN! GRENADE! WE WON COMRADES! GUTENTOG! or whatever.

lol. so funny and a waste of tax payer moneys. they must have felt really stupid. i'm glad i live in the country too. because i always play and watch t.v. with the volume up loud. after all i am deaf. lol well half deaf. still though that would have scared the crap out of me seeing swat there. if they used force on me i'd sue them till they were cleaned out.

Why are people calling the police/SWAT dumb? They got the call from a neighbour to say that people were shooting next door to her what are they gonna do, nothing? Imagine if the neighbour was telling the truth and they just said "Nah it's probebly a game or something" - everyone would be all up in arms over that. So I suggest the idiots at PSU think about that sort of stuff before posting stupid comments.

Police tend to go overkill when they have nothing to do. I once had airsoft guns. One of the neighbors thought they were real when we was messing around with them in the back yard. My whole street was lined with cop cars and SWAT showed up. Good times.
